Happy Friday Everyone!!
I figured I'd take this Friday to really connect with you all and share a bit about myself. I'm Sarah, and guess what? I just hit the big 3-0 back in April! It's still sinking in to be honest.
Ever since I can remember, I've been drawn to beautifully designed spaces. It's in my DNA, I think. My mom used to receive endless compliments on our home's decor, and I'm pretty sure she picked up a trick or two from my great aunt. Visiting Auntie Bea’s house was like stepping into a magical world of intricate details and vibrant colors. I could spend hours admiring the way everything was perfectly arranged, from the tiniest trinkets to the sweeping Tuscan-inspired wallpaper.
That love for design eventually led me to pursue a degree in Interior Architecture. College was a whirlwind of creativity and exploration, and it set me on the path to becoming an Interior Designer, specializing in commercial spaces. I kicked off my career in the heart of it all: New York City. The city was a melting pot of awe-inspiring architecture, jaw-dropping interiors, and, of course, cutting-edge fashion.
Speaking of fashion, getting dressed up has always been fun for me. From school to work to nights out on the town, I lived for putting together outfits. It became a bit of a trademark for me.
As the years went by, my style evolved and matured, mirroring my own personal growth. And now, here I am on Substack, ready to share my passions with the world. From fashion tips to decor ideas to random sparks of inspiration, I'm excited to dive into it all with you.
Thanks for being here! I truly appreciate it.
Until next time,
xx Sarah
Look at this ceiling with the exposed wood beams!!
I will one day have a bright spanish inspired tile in the powder room, just like Aunt Bea
Every year around the Holiday’s her home was decked out with tiny winter villages, a core memory.
Truly inspiring Sarah.
