There came a time when I’d stare into my closet, searching for something to wear to the office, and realized my wardrobe was split into two distinct halves. One side was filled with fun, flirty pieces that showcased my personal style, while the other side was dominated by dull, boring "corporate" attire. You can probably guess which side was which. It reminded me of my private Catholic school days, when I couldn't wait for the weekend to break free from plaid skirts and white button-downs and dress up with friends.
I was fed up with the divide, so I stopped buying “business” attire altogether and began blending business casual with my everyday style. Honestly, I didn't want to maintain two separate wardrobes and was tired of seeing half my closet go unworn. That's when I discovered you can absolutely wear your weekend clothes to the office!
How, you ask? Start with a good blazer—you’ll get your money’s worth, I promise. For instance, this week I had a dinner with family that was in town after work. Instead of bringing a change of clothes, I wore the cutest black strapless maxi dress with Chloe slides and accessorized with chunky gold jewelry. You’re probably thinking, "I can’t wear strapless in front of Tom in Finance." That’s where the blazer comes in. Throw on an oversized blazer and scrunch up the sleeves. This not only elevates your outfit but also makes it office appropriate!
With Memorial day weekend upon us I’ve searched through endless pages from Anthropologie’s sale (+ 40% off this weekend)! Here are some of my favorite sale finds from Anthropologie that are fun, unique, and approved to wear in front of Linda from HR.

An elevated sandal / slide. This comes in several fun colors (personal fav is the Moss)!

Another great top to go with white trousers and mules. This reminds me of something Ganni would design but under $25!!!! Major steal.
Ending this chat with a classic Sarah staple… chunky gold earrings.
There are soooo many great finds, these are just a few I would recommend. Happy shopping! Let me know if you want me to show how to style these pieces.
Thanks for being here! I truly appreciate it.
Until next time,
